I stumbled upon a great site today called www.everyblock.com. It's a neat way to find out what's happening in your neighborhood from restaurant openings to fire department 911 dispatches.
Currently, the service is available to Seattle neighborhoods and I hope it makes its way to the Eastside soon!
Very cool!!
